Obtaining a Skydiving License...

At Thai Sky Adventures, we offer only the best training method to obtain a Skydiving License. This method follows the guidelines recommended in the USPA (United States Parachute Association) Integrated Student Program (ISP). That method is the Traditional AFF (accelerated freefall) program where your first skydive is with your own equipment, and two USPA (or equivalent) rated AFF Instructors designed to reach one goal - make you a safe and self-sufficient skydiver.

The Integrated Student Program is used to achieve this goal by advancing you through seven categories of proficiency (1-7) to qualify you, upon completion of your 17 consolidation jumps, for a USPA "A" License. Advancement is based upon accomplishment of the set goals, called Targeted Learning Objectives (TLOs) for the specific jump. We tailor your jumps based on your own abilities and completion of these TLOs.

Because we have multinational staff we can also help you to achieve the licensing requirements of most European or other recognized parachuting authority. In fact we can assure you of compliance with the licensing requirements from your home country and will certify your logbook and supply copies of your training records and, should you require it a DVD of your graduation (Level 7) skydive.

Throughout the Traditional AFF Progression, you receive additional training with emphasis placed on improving your freefall and canopy flight skills. After the completion of the course, you graduate to a solo jumper capable of taking care of him/herself. Keep in mind, however, that you are still a student under the direct supervision of a Rated Instructor until you obtain an "A" License. And we're here to provide the training and resources necessary for you to reach that goal.

From graduate to "A" License, you practice and learn new skills jumping either solo or with a USPA Rated Instructor or Coach. At a minimum of 25 skydives, you do a role reversal with your Instructor. This is the big moment when you prove to yourself and say to the world...

 

 

This package assumes that you complete the AFF course in 7 jumps. Please be aware that advancement is based on successfully completing the objectives on each jump. Additionally, during the consolidation jumps, a certain number must be accomplished with a coach for evaluation. Also, to be issued a USPA licence, you must join USPA and apply for your license.
