(And we have a lot to smile about) Based at Sri Racha Airfield just 87 Km (54 miles) from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport and 19 Km (11 miles) from the Party town of Pattaya we have everything you need for the Experienced Skydiver to have the holiday of a lifetime.

WEATHER

Skydiving in Thailand offers untold advantages, firstly we have 360 Jumpable days per year. Generally speaking, the best time to visit Thailand is from November to February when the northeast monsoon is blowing cool, dry air which serves as a respite from the heat. During this cool season, the temperature ranges from 18°C to 32°C in Bangkok.

The summer period, or hot and dry season, is from March to June. At this time temperatures in Bangkok average around 34°C, but can often reach 40°C with the humidity levels of 75%.

From July to October is the monsoonal season when most of Thailand's annual rainfall is accumulated. The humidity averages just under 90%, with temperatures averaging around 29°C in Bangkok The Thais will tell you they have 3 seasons - The hot Season, the very hot season and the too hot season!!!

AIRCRAFT

We operate a Pilatus Turbo Porter with the PT6A-27 Engine carrying 7-10 jumpers to 13,000 feet (Standard Exit Altitude) and back down in 16-18 minutes depending on ambient air temperature, piloted by our highly experienced jump pilots.

GEAR RENTAL

We have Rigs available for rental but obviously it is far better if you have your own equipment. Rig hire works on a "First come - First served" basis (we have everything from 135 to 280 sq ft Canopies) and we can also help out with Jumpsuits and Protec Helmets on occasion. We do ask you to have your own Altimeter, Goggles and gloves as a minimum if at all possible.

COACHING & LOAD ORGANISING

We can arrange coaching jumps for all levels of jumper and have some very good jumpers available at the DZ who will organise 8/9 way skydiving.

LOCATION

Located at Sri Racha Airfield just 19 Kms from downtown Pattaya we have arranged everything to make your Thai Skydiving Adventure both enjoyable and as cost conscious as possible. Starting from your arrival in Thailand you can transfer by Bell Bus Service to Pattaya for a mere 200 Thai Baht (+/- US$6) including door to door delivery to your hotel with prices as low as 950 Bt/Night (US$27) for a clean comfortable air conditioned room.

Our DZ Bus Service runs at regular intervals to and from the DZ and is included in the room price at Photisarn Sports Apartments. If you are staying elsewhere in Pattaya you can arrange pickup via the sales office for 400 Baht a day return or make your way to Photisarn Soi 8 and ride the bus for 200 baht/day return or we can arrange Motor cycle or car hire (and yes the cars do have GPS so you can't get lost - mind you we do drive on the left and the road rules are a little crazy).

Once you arrive at the Drop Zone the cost of the ride to altitude is competitive with most US drop zones and cheaper than the price you'll pay in Europe.

Packing service is available or you can use our under cover packing area.

And when jumping is finished you can ride the bus back to your hotel and sample the delights of Thai cuisine (Acknowledged to be the best in the world at prices so low you'll wonder why you don't live here)...and then have fun in the beer bars and clubs of Walking Street and surrounding district... (Oh, and they won't let me tell you how friendly the girls are!!!)

DOCUMENTATION

As always Safety is our priority, The Drop zone is USPA affiliated, and requires you to have membership of your national association with proof of Insurance, medical fitness, and of course all gear will be checked and must be In date and Serviceable. We have our own In House Rigging service, so reserve re-packs; minor/major maintenance can all be undertaken. Also only those who have previously spent time in Hospital after being injured carrying out low hook turns are permitted to do them at our DZ.

AAD POLICY

For safety reasons, use of an approved AAD is Mandatory at Thai Sky Adventures. It should be in date, serviceable and turned on for each and every jump. If your rig is not fitted with an AAD then rental equipment, though limited, should be available.
