Driving Directions

The way to the Drop Zone is easy... but it's also easy to get lost or get it wrong.

If you haven't done so already, be sure to check the Drop Zone page. Here you will find the GPS coordinates as well as other location information.

From Pattaya (bus station on North Pattaya Rd.)

From North Pattaya Road Bus Station, to the Skydiving Drop Zone.

1. Turn left out of the Bus Station

2. Head east on Pattaya Nuea (North Pattaya Road) toward Route 3/Sukhumvit Road - go 0.3 km

3. Turn left onto Route 3/Sukhumvit - go 15.2 km

4. Shortly after this you will see from quite a distance a large "Tesco" building to the right. This is also the location of Harbour Mall which is where you will exit Route 3/Sukhumvit
   
5. Having passed a PTT petrol station on your left, you will begin to approach a "flyover" or bridge. DO NOT continue over the flyover, but exit to the left toward Laem Chabang - go 0.4 km

6. At this point, to your right is Harbour Mall To your left is the entrance to Laem Chabang Port You turn right at the traffic lights so that you drive under the flyover.
   

7. From here you simply drive straight for about 5 km. if viewed on Google Maps the area appears as Thung Sukhla and the road names for this last stretch are Mueang Mai Klang and Nong Khla Mai. This may be useful if using GPS navigation, but you just continue until you see a runway on your left!

You will be driving right past the SAHA Group Industrial Estate. First you cross over a very small railway crossing, then you will arrive at the edge of the industrial estate. You pass Security Gate 3 (pass, but do not enter) - after another 500 metres the road actually crosses over the runway. Look out on the right for our packing tent.

From Bangkok

From Bangkok (approx 1.5 hours) you can either take highway 3 (Sukhumvit) or highway 7 (motorway).

From Highway 3/Sukhumvit

1. Having passed through Sri Racha continue towards Pattaya. Exit left prior to the flyover at Tesco Lotus/Harbor mall, which is at the junction for Laem Chabang port.

2. Turn left at the traffic lights. Follow that road for about 10 minutes through an industrial area, over the railway, and continue for a further 5 minutes, don't turn left into gate 3 Sahapat industrial estate but continue on another 500 metres until you cross the runway, the dropzone is then immediately on your right. You can see our parachute packing tent from the road.

From Highway 7

1. If you are coming down highway 7 continue toward Pattaya, you will pass a very large sign on the left saying "Pin Thong" keep going and continue past the turnoff for Laem Chabang.

2. Proceed for 5km (still on highway 7), stay in the left hand lane, and get ready for the small turn off on the left (this is the second turnoff past the Laemchabang turnoff and sign posted "Ao Udom" and also "Heart Centre".

3. After you exit the motor way turn left then make a "U Turn" back towards Ao Udom. Follow the road into the village and after about 2KM you will come to Saha Group gate 6. Enter the airfield via gate 6 drive across the runway turn 1st Left, 1st Right then left again and you will exit by Gate 3.

4. Turn left out of gate 3 and proceed 500 metres, then turn right into the Drop Zone!!!
