Getting Here
A warm welcome and time to relax...
Thailand is a diverse and exciting country and has
something to offer to both newcomers and those who
have visited before. This, with the prospect of some
awesome skydiving in classic conditions make the
thought of a holiday start to turn into a promising
adventure from the very start. The great advantage of
coming to Thailand to complete a training course or
just to try a tandem jump is that all the extra
expenses are very manageable. Cheap accommodation,
food and transport. Getting around is affordable and
generally very easy.
From Suvarnabhumi (Bangkok International Airport)
from Suvarnabhumi International Airport in
Bangkok, the cheapest way to get to
Pattaya is to simply make your way to the ground
floor at, or around door 7 - and board one of the
comfortable air conditioned buses to
Pattaya, from Pattaya we can have you
collected. There are buses running every 30 minutes
to 1 hour, they are priced at only THB 100 -
150 Baht (under $5 USD). On arrival at
Pattaya Bus station (on North Pattaya
Road), providing you have booked tandem
skydiving in advance, we can have you collected in a
mini-van to take you to the Drop Zone.
Alternatively you can hire a taxi for around
THB 1000 - 1500 Baht ($50 USD).
If you contact us first, we can arrange your airport
transfer to suit your schedule and your needs. That
means we can have a reasonably priced taxi that beats
the price of alternative services, waiting for you
with a "Thai Sky Adventures" sign. Our
speciality is catering for large
groups (such as stag
parties) or corporate
bookings - we can arrange for comfortable,
clean and quality buses to transfer you to your
destination. If you are making your own way to the
Drop Zone from the airport, you will be travelling
south on Highway 7. You take the first exit after the
Laem Chabang flyover.
From Bangkok
Similar to the bus services from the airport, you can
easily take air-conditioned and regular buses
departing from the Eastern Bus Terminal
(Ekkamai) and Bangkoks' Northern Bus
Terminal (Morchit Bus Terminal) on
Kamphaengphet Road daily.
Both of these stations (Morchit and Ekkamai) are also
BTS (sky train) stations, very
accessible and easy to find. Prices range from THB
113 Baht to THB 121 Baht. Taxi's from Bangkok to
Pattaya or to the Drop Zone should be very reasonably
priced and can be as cheap as THB 850 Baht.
Buses (air-con) depart the Eastern Bus Terminal every
30 minutes from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from Morchit
(Northern Bus Terminal) from 5.00 a.m. to 9 p.m.
*If you travel by bus, be sure
to get one that stops at the bus
station on "Pattaya Nuea"
or "North Pattaya Road". Some buses
go towards "Jomtien Beach", which is
much further south...
From Khao San Road
Backpackers can get to the Drop Zone or to Pattaya,
do a tandem skydive, and be back in Bangkok
the same afternoon. call the sales phone
number (66) 085 900 3412 and we'll arrange your
mini-van. Get a group together and this becomes very
cost effective. If your group fills up the
van - we'll provide this for free!
From Pattaya
We can arrange for a taxi for experienced jumpers to
bring you to the Drop Zone. The advantage of us doing
so is that the driver will know where it is! Tandem
skydivers, your transport is free. We simply need to
know your pickup location in Pattaya (hotel name and

Transport during your stay...
After leaving busy Bangkok things get a little more
rural as you travel south down the main motorway
toward the Drop Zone and on to Pattaya, the
self proclaimed Extreme City, noted for it's
AMAZING NIGHT LIFE!!!
The journey takes approximately one and a half hours
in total and you will notice many tourist attractions
leading off either side of the main motorway. During
your trip we provide comfortable air conditioned
mini-vans for travel to and from Photisarn Sports
Apartments and the Drop Zone. These buses have
plenty of space for both passengers and gear. It's
the best (and coolest) way to get around and a great
way to get to know everyone. Arranging travel or the
cost of transport isn't something you need to think
about with Thai Sky Adventures - we understand
that you simply don't need the hassle, so when you
book accommodation with us, travel between your
accommodation and the drop zone is all taken care of
for no extra charge. Those wishing to use the
transport that we provide, who do not stay in our
accommodation may pay a nominal extra charge if
required to also be picked up.
Of course for those who wish to remain independent we
can access car/motorcycle hire if required. Thai
Sky Adventures know that you just want to get to
out there and experience what you came here for -
safe and exciting skydiving.
