The Drop Zone is Located at Nong Khor (Ao Udom) and is exactly 19 Km from Pattaya just off the main Highway - Bangkok and Chon Buri (Route 3/Sukhumvit) to Pattaya or Highway 7 to Bangkok. Depending on mode of transport - We are 30 mins from Pattaya and roughly 1.5 hours from Bangkok.

Sport jumpers our minibus leaves the (PS2) Photisarn Sports Apartments - Photisarn road, soi 8, North Pattaya at 07.30am each morning. If you're not staying at PS2 you can ride the bus for 200THB per person to the dropzone, this includes the return journey with the bus leaving from the dropzone at approximately 17.30pm each day. The bus will not wait around for stragglers.

It is sometimes possible, if our schedule permits, to have our bus pick you up from other accommodation in Pattaya/Jomtien for a charge of 400THB per person, includes return journey. You'll need to contact us the day before for this 085 900 3412 and pay cash to the driver each trip.

Transport during your stay...

During your trip we provide comfortable air conditioned mini-vans for travel to and from Photisarn Sports Apartments and the Drop Zone. These buses have plenty of space for both passengers and gear. It's the best (and coolest) way to get around and a great way to get to know everyone. Arranging travel or the cost of transport isn't something you need to think about with Thai Sky Adventures - we understand that you simply don't need the hassle, so when you book accommodation with us, travel between your accommodation and the drop zone is all taken care of for no extra charge.

Of course for those who wish to remain independent we can access car/motorcycle hire if required. Thai Sky Adventures know that you just want to get to out there and experience what you came here for - safe and exciting skydiving.

The dropzone is fairly easy to find if you print directions and the map (link). Taxi drivers often struggle to read maps and make hard work of finding the dropzone. Give them the best chance of making your journey hassle free by printing the directions in THAI (link). Any problems call the dropzone on 0871 372 008 for directions.

We can book a taxi to collect you from Bangkok international airport or downtown Bangkok. Our taxi drivers know how to get to the dropzone so you won't get lost. They operate safe reliable vehicles and don't drive like hooligans.

By Bus

From Suvarnabhumi (Bangkok International Airport) The cheapest way to get to Pattaya is to simply make your way to the ground floor at, or around door 7 - and board one of the comfortable air conditioned buses to Pattaya, make sure you take a bus to PATTAYA NORTH BUS STATION if you have pre-booked we can then have you collected in our minibus. There are buses running every 30 minutes to 1 hour, they are priced at only THB 100 - 150 Baht (under $5 USD).

If you are a large group it's possible for us to arrange minibus transport for 2,000THB per minibus. (seats 10)

From Bangkok

Similar to the bus services from the airport, you can easily take air-conditioned and regular buses departing from the Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai). Ekkamai is also a BTS (sky train) station and is very accessible and easy to find. Prices are around 150THB. Buses (air-con) depart every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Make sure to take the 1st class aircon bus to "Pattaya Nuea" or "North Pattaya Road"these buses are clue and white and you purchase tickets at the booth BEFORE you get on the bus. Touts will try to get you on a 2nd or 3rd class bus. DO NOT do this as the journey will take a VERY long time. Some buses go towards "Jomtien Beach", which is much further south...

From Khao San Road

Backpackers can get to the Drop Zone or to Pattaya, do a tandem skydive, and be back in Bangkok the same afternoon. The mini-bus leaves at 09.00am and costs 300THB one way. It brings you direct to the dropzone. You will need to call us ahead and book your place for this service. After your jump we can drop you at Pattaya North Bus Station for your ride back to Bangkok. Bell Travel operate the coaches from the airport to Pattaya and can be contacted directly by email at rrc_bus@hotmail.com. It is also worth having a look at the Bell Travel Service website. Bell Travel Service offer mini-van transfer to your hotel door and run very frequently. Airports of Thailand pcl. also offer limousine and transportation services from Suvarnabhumi.
